Agnieszka Wagner was born on December 17, 1970, in Warsaw, Poland. She began studying economics at the University of Warsaw in 1989 and also studied art history there. She graduated from the European Film Academy in Berlin.
Wagner had her first international appearance in Steven Spielberg's film Schindler's List. She is married to Jerzy Jurczyński and has a daughter. In September 1998, she appeared on the cover of the Polish Playboy magazine and was photographed for an erotic photo spread.
