Aitana Bonmatí Conca (born January 18, 1998, in Catalonia) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for FC Barcelona and the Spanish national team. She debuted for Barcelona's first team in 2016 and became a regular starter from the 2018–19 season. She has won multiple league titles, UEFA Women’s Champions League trophies, and domestic cups with Barcelona.
Internationally, Bonmatí played a key role in Spain’s 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup victory, receiving the Golden Ball award. She also helped Spain win the 2024 UEFA Nations League and has earned individual honors including the 2023 and 2024 Ballon d'Or Féminin and FIFA Best Women's Player. She holds a degree in sports science, speaks Catalan, Spanish, and English, follows a flexitarian diet, and supports mental health and women's rights initiatives.
