Alexia Putellas Segura (born 4 February 1994) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder and captain for Primera División club Barcelona and the Spain national team. Since joining Barcelona in 2012, she has won five league titles, six Copas de la Reina, and one UEFA Women's Champions League title. In the 2020–21 season, she played a key role in Barcelona's first UEFA Women's Champions League victory and continental treble. In 2021, Putellas won the UEFA Women's Player of the Year Award, the Ballon d'Or Féminin, and The Best FIFA Women's Player award, becoming the first player to win all three in the same year.
Internationally, Putellas won two UEFA Women's U-17 Euros in 2010 and 2011 and finished second in the 2012 UEFA Women's U-19 Euro. She debuted for Spain's senior national team in 2012 and participated in the 2015 and 2019 FIFA Women's World Cups and the 2017 UEFA Women's Euro. As of 2022, she has the second-most appearances and is the second-highest scorer for FC Barcelona Femení, and holds the record for most appearances for Spain with 100 caps, surpassing the previous record in 2021.
