Lü Jie, also known as Amy Lu, is a Cantonese-speaking model working in Mainland China and Hong Kong. She began her career as an advertisement and TV commercial model in 1998 and transitioned to sitcoms and TV dramas in early 2002.
She appeared in two Hong Kong box office films: Kung Fu Soccer, Heart Itch, and The End of Counterfeit Money. Lü Jie graduated from Zhixin High School in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China, and earned a degree in French from the Guangzhou Institute of Foreign Languages.
