Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Fuller Olsen (born June 13, 1986, in Sherman Oaks, California) are American actresses and entrepreneurs. They are fraternal twin sisters who began appearing on television as toddlers and gained worldwide fame in the late 1980s through the TV series Full House.
The twins have appeared in numerous TV series, television and feature films, and commercials. They are also successful entrepreneurs with various companies marketing licensed products and fashion items. They usually appear together in public. Their younger sister, Elizabeth Olsen, is also an actress.
