Bahar Kizil (born 5 October 1988) is a German singer-songwriter of Turkish origin. She is best known as one of the founding members of the pop group Monrose, which won the fifth season of the German version of Popstars.
Born in Freiburg, Baden-Württemberg, Kizil comes from a Turkish family from Bayburt. Her first name, Bahar, means "spring" in Turkish. She began ballet at age twelve and sang with four different bands before auditioning for Popstars.
