Barbara Bach, born on August 27, 1947, in Queens, New York, is an American actress and former model known for her role as Bond girl Anya Amasova in The Spy Who Loved Me (1977). Her appearance in the James Bond film made her internationally famous and led to further roles in European and American productions.
Before her acting career, she was a successful model featured in numerous fashion magazines and advertising campaigns. In 1981, she married Ringo Starr, the drummer of the Beatles, and later became involved in charitable projects. Although she withdrew from Hollywood, her legacy as a Bond girl remains notable.
