Camila Giorgi, born 30 December 1991 in Macerata, Italy, is an Italian professional tennis player. She is right-handed with a two-handed backhand and began playing tennis at age five. Giorgi debuted in senior international tournaments in 2006 on the ITF circuit and won her first ITF title in 2009. She made her WTA main draw debut at the 2011 Wimbledon Championships.
Giorgi reached the fourth round of Wimbledon in 2012 and the US Open in 2013. She played her first WTA singles final at the 2013 BNP Paribas Katowice Open and won her first WTA title at the 2015 Topshelf Open. Her highest singles ranking was world number 30 in July 2015. Giorgi is noted for her aggressive game and powerful flat groundstrokes. Her significant wins include victories over former world number 1 players Caroline Wozniacki, Maria Sharapova, and Victoria Azarenka. She has a winning record against Top-10 players.
