Charlotte Maria Church (born Charlotte Maria Reed; 21 February 1986) is a Welsh singer-songwriter, actress, and television presenter. She gained fame as a classical singer in childhood before transitioning to pop music in 2005.
By 2007, she had sold over 10 million records worldwide, including more than 5 million in the United States. In 2010, her worth was reported to be up to £11 million. She hosted the Channel 4 chat show The Charlotte Church Show and released the album Back to Scratch on 17 October 2010. Church is a soprano.
