China Anne McClain (born August 25, 1998) is an American actress and singer. She began her career in 2005 with the film The Gospel and played China James in Daddy's Little Girls (2007). She gained national recognition as Jazmine Payne in Tyler Perry's House of Payne and co-starred in Grown Ups (2010) and its sequel Grown Ups 2 (2013). From 2011 to 2014, she starred as Chyna Parks in the Disney Channel series A.N.T. Farm, whose soundtrack debuted at number 29 on the Billboard 200. McClain sang six songs on the soundtrack, including a version of Taio Cruz's "Dynamite," and her song "Calling All the Monsters" reached number 86 on the Billboard Hot 100.
In 2014, McClain won the first season of ABC's Sing Your Face Off and starred in the Disney Channel movie How to Build a Better Boy. She played Uma, Ursula's daughter, in Descendants 2 (2017). Starting in 2018, she portrayed Jennifer Pierce in The CW series Black Lightning and returned as a recurring cast member in OWN’s Tyler Perry’s The Paynes.
