She began her career as a nude model, appearing in the 2009 D&W calendar and as a Bild girl. The American Playboy also attempted to have her pose nude or topless. Katzenberger gained nationwide recognition through various reality TV shows and docu-soaps, including VOX's "Auf und davon – Mein Auslandstagebuch," where she tried to meet Playboy owner Hugh Hefner. She also appeared on "Goodbye Deutschland! Die Auswanderer," achieving record ratings for VOX.
