Delta Lea Goodrem (born 9 November 1984) is an Australian singer-songwriter and actress. She began her career as a child actress in television and gained prominence in 2002 on the soap opera Neighbours as Nina Tucker. At 15, she signed with Sony Music and released her debut album Innocent Eyes (2003), which topped the ARIA Albums Chart for 25 consecutive weeks and reached number two in the UK. The album sold over four million copies worldwide and produced five number-one singles on the ARIA Singles Chart, making her the first artist to achieve this from a debut album. Innocent Eyes is the best-selling Australian album of the 2000s and holds the record for the most number-one singles from a debut album.
Her second album, Mistaken Identity (2004), was created during her battle with cancer and became her second number-one album, including two number-one singles. Subsequent albums include Delta (2007), Child of the Universe (2012), and Wings of the Wild (2016), each producing number-one singles and albums on the ARIA charts. Goodrem has nine number-one singles and 17 top-ten hits on the ARIA Singles Chart, with over eight million albums sold worldwide. She has won three World Music Awards, 10 ARIA Music Awards, an MTV Video Music Award, and served as a coach on The Voice Australia from 2012 to 2013 and again in 2015, as well as winning The Voice Kids Australia in 2014.
