Denise Michelle Crosby (born November 24, 1957) is an American actress and model known for playing Security Chief Tasha Yar in Season One of Star Trek: The Next Generation and Yar's daughter, Commander Sela, in later seasons. She has appeared in various films and television roles and starred in and produced the film Trekkies.
She is the paternal granddaughter of entertainer Bing Crosby.
