Ellen ten Damme (born October 7, 1967) is a Dutch actress, performer, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. She sings and acts in Dutch, English, French, and German, and plays piano, keyboards, guitar, and violin.
Ten Damme grew up in Roden near Groningen, studied Dutch briefly, then switched to the Amsterdam Theatre School. After spending time in Germany, she returned to Amsterdam and lives on a houseboat. Incorporating gymnastic tricks into her shows has become a trademark.
