Gabby Douglas is an American artistic gymnast and Olympic champion. She was born on December 31, 1995, in Virginia and made history in 2012 as the first African American woman to win the individual all-around at the Olympic Games.
She also won team gold with the USA in 2012 (Fierce Five) and 2016 (Final Five). Douglas was coached by Liang Chow and is internationally known in gymnastics. She has published an autobiography and appeared in several TV projects.
