Heidi Reichinnek, born on April 19, 1988, in Merseburg, East Germany, is a German politician of the party Die Linke. She became interested in politics as a teenager, opposed the Hartz IV reforms, and advocated for women's equality and social justice.
Reichinnek joined Die Linke in 2015 and was elected to the Osnabrück city council in 2016. In 2019, she became the state chairwoman of Die Linke in Lower Saxony. She entered the Bundestag in 2021 via the state list and was elected co-chair of the Left parliamentary group in February 2024 alongside Sören Pellmann. She actively uses social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram to reach younger audiences, which increased party memberships and support.
