Isa Andersen, whose real name is Isa Jank, is a German actress best known for her role as Clarissa von Anstetten on the soap opera Verbotene Liebe (Forbidden Love). She began her career in Hollywood in the mid-1980s, appearing alongside James Belushi in Real Men and taking roles in Nightangel, Cheers, and Airwolf. In 1992, she returned to Germany to join the legal drama Liebling Kreuzberg.
In 1994, Isa joined Verbotene Liebe, playing Clarissa von Anstetten for nearly three years before a six-month kidnapping storyline temporarily removed her character. She returned for another two years but left permanently in 2001 after disputes over her role. Her character was presumed dead after a plane crash, though the show never confirmed the death. In 2005, Isa took on the antagonist role of Annabelle Gravenberg in the telenovela Wege zum Glück, staying until the character's death in 2008. Despite rumors, Isa initially declined to return to Verbotene Liebe but reappeared as Clarissa in 2011 for a six-month special filmed in Mallorca before returning to Cologne.
