Julia Thurnau (born 21 May 1974) is a French-German actress and artist. She grew up near Cannes, later moved to Munich for acting studies at Schauspielstudio München, and trained at the Ernst Busch acting school in Berlin.
She debuted in the 1995 film After Five in the Forest Primeval with Franka Potente. Thurnau has had major roles in over 20 French and German films and TV movies, including Der Weibsteufel (2000) by Jo Baier and D'Artagnan et les trois mousquetaires (2005) by Pierre Aknine. She directed the short film Ondinas (2003) and works in fine arts.
