Karen McDougal (born March 23, 1971) is an American model and actress known for being Playboy's Playmate of the Month in December 1997 and Playmate of the Year in 1998. In 2001, Playboy readers voted her the second sexiest Playmate of the 1990s.
Before modeling, McDougal taught pre-kindergarten and launched her career after winning a swimwear competition. She has appeared in various magazines, television commercials, and minor acting roles. She was the first woman on the cover of Men's Fitness magazine and starred in the direct-to-video film The Arena. McDougal is a fitness enthusiast with a background in ballet and high school sports and is a motorcycle and car collector. She has maintained a largely private social life since her Playboy career.
