Katharina Scholz, born July 4, 1983, in Berlin, is a German field hockey player. She began playing at Berliner Sport-Club and then moved to Berliner HC, where she became four times German youth champion. After a period at Real Club de Polo de Barcelona, she moved to Munich for law studies and played as a forward for Münchner SC.
Scholz won the U18 European Championship in 2000 and 2001 and was runner-up at the U21 European Championship in 2004. She debuted in the German national team in 2005, becoming vice European champion that year. The team won the FIH Champions Trophy in 2006 and the European Championship in 2007. By July 6, 2008, Scholz had 60 international caps, none in indoor hockey. She posed for Playboy before the 2008 Beijing Olympics, as did her teammate Fanny Rinne in 2004.
