Laura Robson (born 21 January 1994) is a British tennis player and an Olympic Mixed Doubles Silver Medalist. She debuted on the International Tennis Federation junior tour in 2007 and won the Wimbledon Junior Girls' Championship in 2008 at age 14. She reached the girls' singles final at the Australian Open in 2009 and 2010 and won her first professional tournament in November 2008.
Robson reached the fourth round of a Grand Slam at the 2012 US Open and 2013 Wimbledon Championships, the first British woman to do so since 1998. She won a silver medal in mixed doubles at the 2012 London Olympics with Andy Murray and reached the 2010 Hopman Cup final with him. In 2012, she was the first British woman since 1990 to reach a WTA main-tour final. She was named WTA Newcomer of the Year in 2012 and achieved a career-high singles ranking of world number 27 on 8 July 2013. Following injuries, her participation has been limited, with a drop in rankings and sporadic match play through 2016. Her career-high doubles ranking is number 82.
