Lena Kesting, born on March 20, 1994, in Viersen, is a sports journalist and television presenter. She competed in competitive swimming from 2005 to 2012 before focusing on her academic career. Kesting graduated in 2016 with a degree in sports journalism from Macromedia University in Cologne.
Her career began with internships and student assistant roles at ZDF sports editorial office from 2015 to 2017. She then completed a traineeship at Sat.1 NRW, where she also worked as a presenter. Since September 2020, Kesting has presented the sports segment on the ZDF Morning Show. She reported live from the swimming competitions at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics and covered alpine skiing at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. In December 2023, she co-hosted the "Athlete of the Year" gala with Sven Voss. Kesting is also active on social media, sharing insights into her professional and personal life.
