Małgosia Bela, born Małgorzata Bela on June 6, 1977, in Krakow, is a Polish model and actress. She attended a music school in Krakow and studied Polish philology at the Jagiellonian University. A Polish modeling agency convinced her to move to New York to work as a model, where she collaborated with photographers such as Paolo Roversi, Peter Lindbergh, Craig McDean, Steven Klein, David Sims, Mario Testino, Mario Sorrenti, and Steven Meisel. She appeared four times on the cover of the Italian edition of Vogue.
She was cast by Polish director Małgorzata Szumowska in the film "Ono" (English title: "Life in Me"), which was shown in the Panorama section at the 2005 Berlinale. Motivated by this experience, she began acting lessons at the Actors Studio in New York and played a leading role in the Italian film production "Karol – A Man Who Became Pope."
