Mareike Lindenmeyer, also known as Mareike Lindenmayer and Mareike Lindenmayr, was born on February 12, 1981, in Starnberg, Germany. She began working on radio productions for Bayerischer Rundfunk at the age of eleven. She received a lead role in Dominik Graf's Bitter Innocence after participating in a film casting. In the TV film The Untamable Heart, she played the sister of the main character who takes her own life. Lindenmeyer appeared alongside Heiner Lauterbach and Jennifer Nitsch in the TV two-part series In the Name of the Lord.
From 2012, she became widely known to television audiences through her lead role as Kira König in the ARD telenovela Sturm der Liebe. Mareike Lindenmeyer is studying theater studies, special education, and psychology in Munich.
