Michelle Alves (born September 19, 1978) is a Brazilian model from Londrina, Parana, Brazil. She studied civil engineering at Londrina State University before moving to São Paulo to pursue modeling. Alves speaks Portuguese, Italian, French, and English.
She appeared in the 2002 and 2003 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues, two Victoria's Secret Fashion Shows, and their catalogs, including the 10th anniversary book Sexy. Alves has contracts with brands such as Valentino, Christian Dior, Escada, Ralph Lauren, Missoni, Miss Sixty, Michael Kors, GAP, Emporio Armani, AKRIS, and Yves Saint Laurent for the Cinéma fragrance campaign. She has worked with photographers including Steven Meisel, Patrick Demarchelier, Bruce Weber, and Richard Avedon, and appeared on over 100 magazine covers, including Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire, and Harper's Bazaar. She currently lives in Los Angeles.
