Morgan Fairchild (born Patsy Ann McClenny; February 3, 1950) is an American actress. She gained prominence in the late 1970s and early 1980s with roles in several television series, often portraying glamorous characters.
Fairchild began her career on the CBS soap opera Search for Tomorrow as Jennifer Pace from 1973 to 1977. She appeared on Dallas in 1978 as the first actress to portray Jenna Wade and starred in NBC's Flamingo Road in 1980, earning a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in a Television Series Drama. She co-starred in ABC's Paper Dolls in 1984 and appeared in Falcon Crest as attorney Jordan Roberts from 1985 to 1986. Fairchild has also acted in theater and guest-starred in comedies such as Murphy Brown, Roseanne, Cybill, and Friends. She received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for Murphy Brown and serves on the SAG-AFTRA board.
