Natalie Bassingthwaighte, born 1 September 1975 in Wollongong, New South Wales, is an Australian recording artist, actress, and television personality. She began acting in 1998 with guest roles and gained recognition in 2003 for her role as Izzy Hoyland on the soap opera Neighbours, earning three Logie Award nominations. In 2004, she became the lead singer of the Australian electro-pop band Rogue Traders. After leaving Neighbours in 2006, she released a platinum-certified cover of "Don't Give Up" with Shannon Noll. Bassingthwaighte left Rogue Traders in 2008 to pursue a solo music career and released her debut album 1000 Stars in 2009, which reached number one on the ARIA Albums Chart and was certified gold, featuring platinum top-ten singles "Alive" and "Someday Soon".
In 2008, she co-wrote the book Sistahood: A Journal of Self-Discovery with her younger sister and began hosting So You Think You Can Dance Australia until 2010. From 2011 to 2014, she served as a judge and mentor on The X Factor Australia, then joined The X Factor New Zealand in 2015. Bassingthwaighte has been married twice: to chef Graham Wilmott from 1998 to 2000, and in December 2011 to former Rogue Traders bandmate Cameron McGlinchey. They have two children, a daughter Harper Rain Sinclair McGlinchey and a son Hendrix John Hickson McGlinchey.
