Nicole Ari Parker Kodjoe (born October 7, 1970) is an American actress and model. She debuted in the independent film The Incredibly True Adventure of Two Girls in Love (1995) and appeared in Boogie Nights (1997) directed by Paul Thomas Anderson.
Parker starred in movies such as Blue Streak (1999), Remember the Titans (2000), Brown Sugar (2002), Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins (2008), Black Dynamite (2009), and Almost Christmas (2016). On television, she played attorney Teri Joseph in Showtime's Soul Food (2000–04), earning five NAACP Image Award nominations. She also appeared in UPN's Second Time Around (2004–05), ABC's Time After Time (2017), Fox's Empire (2017), and currently recurs as Deputy Superintendent Samantha Miller on Chicago P.D.
