Paula Corbin Jones (born Paula Rosalee Corbin; September 17, 1966) is a former Arkansas state employee who sued U.S. President Bill Clinton for sexual harassment. The Paula Jones case led to Clinton's impeachment and acquittal by the Senate on February 12, 1999, on charges of perjury and obstruction of justice.
The court dismissed the Paula Jones harassment lawsuit before trial because Jones failed to demonstrate any damages. While the dismissal was on appeal, Clinton agreed to an out-of-court settlement, paying Jones $850,000.
