Sadie Frost (born June 19, 1965, in London as Sadie Liza Vaughn) is a British actress. She initially performed theater at the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester and appeared in the music video for "Gold" by Spandau Ballet, the band of her later husband Gary Kemp. She became known in 1992 for her role as Lucy Westenra in the film Dracula directed by Francis Ford Coppola. In 1994, she acted in Shopping alongside Jason Isaacs, Jude Law, and Marianne Faithfull. In 1999, she appeared in the TV film The Lake of Darkness with Jerome Flynn and Gillian Barge.
In 1999, she co-founded the film company Natural Nylon, which produced the film Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow in 2004. Since 1999, she has also been active in the fashion industry, running the company FrostFrench with Jemima French, which produces scented lingerie. She was married twice: from 1988 to 1995 to musician Gary Kemp and from 1997 to 2003 to actor Jude Law. Frost has four children born in 1990, 1996, 2000, and 2002. The rumor that her parents named her after the Beatles song "Sexy Sadie" is incorrect, as the song was recorded in August 1968. Her sister Holly Davidson is also an actress.
