Sandra Oh, born on July 20, 1971, in Nepean, Canada, is a Canadian actress of Korean descent. She became known for her role as Cristina Yang in Grey’s Anatomy (2005–2014), for which she won a Golden Globe and received multiple Emmy nominations.
She later starred in Killing Eve (2018–2022), earning another Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award. Oh also appeared in films such as Sideways, Raya and the Last Dragon, and Red. She is regarded as a prominent actress in film and television.
