Shalita Grant (born August 28, 1988) is an American actress known for her roles as NCIS Agent Sonja Percy on NCIS: New Orleans and Aurelia Johnson on Mercy Street. She was raised in Petersburg, Virginia, attended the Baltimore School for the Arts in Maryland, and graduated from the Juilliard School with a B.F.A. in Drama in 2010.
Grant was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play in 2013 for her role as Cassandra in Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, which won the Tony for Best Play. She also won the 2013 Theatre World Award for Outstanding Broadway Debut. Her stage work includes roles in The Philanderer and productions at The Public Theater such as Measure for Measure, The Winter's Tale, and The Merchant of Venice. After moving to Los Angeles, she appeared in guest roles on The Good Wife, Battle Creek, Bones, and Melissa & Joey before becoming a series regular on NCIS: New Orleans. Her film credits include Empire Corner (2010), Invisible (2010), and the Oscar-nominated documentary Rehearsing a Dream (2006). Grant divides her time between New Orleans, Louisiana, and Los Angeles, California.
