Soleil Moon Frye, born August 6, 1976, is an American actress, director, and screenwriter. She began acting at age 2 and gained fame at 7 as Penelope "Punky" Brewster in the sitcom Punky Brewster, which aired on NBC starting in September 1984 and continued in syndication until 1988. Afterward, she appeared in guest television roles and supporting film parts, directed her first film Wild Horses in 1998, and joined the cast of Sabrina, the Teenage Witch as Roxie King from 2000 to 2003. She has also worked as a voice actor, including voicing Aseefa in Planet Sheen.
Frye married producer Jason Goldberg in 1998 and has four children. She opened an organic specialty children's clothing store called The Little Seed in Los Angeles and hosts a blog and web series focused on child rearing and women's issues. In 2011, she published the book Happy Chaos: From Punky to Parenting and My Perfectly Imperfect Adventures in Between. She currently hosts Home Made Simple on the Oprah Winfrey Network.
