Tamara Mellon, OBE (born 7 July 1967), is a British fashion designer, businesswoman, and magazine editor. She co-founded Jimmy Choo, a luxury brand of shoes, handbags, and accessories, and served as its chief creative officer until November 2011 following its acquisition by Labelux.
In 2013, Mellon launched the Tamara Mellon brand, offering shoes, handbags, and accessories. The brand debuted in November 2013 with retail partners in the US and Europe but filed for bankruptcy in 2015. She lives in New York City and London with her daughter, Araminta "Minty" Mellon.
