Natasha "Tash" Sultana (born June 18, 1995, in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia) is an Australian-Maltese singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, beatboxer, and looping artist. She describes her music as "not genre-based," combining electronic indie, folk, jazz, reggae, rock, and soul.
Sultana began her career performing on the streets of Melbourne. She gained wider recognition in April 2016 when a repost of a live version of her song "Jungle," originally uploaded to Facebook in October 2015, reached over one million views within days. Her "Live Bedroom Recordings," live session videos recorded in her home or childhood bedroom and shared on YouTube, also received significant attention.
