Teri Hatcher, born on December 8, 1964, in Palo Alto, California, is a versatile American actress. She became known for her role as Lois Lane in the series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman and later as Susan Mayer in the successful series Desperate Housewives, for which she received a Golden Globe award.
Early in her career, Hatcher appeared in the film The Cool Surface (1994), where she performed a notable nude scene. She has established a solid position in Hollywood through her work.
