Thandie Newton, born on November 6, 1972, in London, England, is a British actress known for her roles in Westworld (2016–2022), Crash (2004), and Mission: Impossible 2 (2000). She won an Emmy for her portrayal of Maeve Millay in Westworld.
She also appeared in films such as The Pursuit of Happyness (2006) and Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018). Newton actively advocates for diversity and representation in Hollywood. In recent years, she decided to use her birth name, Thandiwe Newton, professionally.
