Katrina Laverne Taylor (born December 3, 1978), known as Trina, is an American rapper and model. She gained attention in 1998 with her feature on Trick Daddy's album www.thug.com on the single "Nann Nigga" and has since released five studio albums.
XXL Magazine described her as "the most consistent female rapper of all time." In 2012, Source Magazine recognized her career during Women's History Month. Complex Magazine ranked her song "Pull Over" #27 in the Top 50 Best Rap Songs by Women in 2013. In 2014, Billboard included her in the list of "31 Female Rappers Who Changed Hip-Hop."
