German actress Ulrike Folkerts (born 14 May 1961 in Kassel, Hesse, Germany) is widely recognized for her role as police officer Lena Odenthal in the German crime series Tatort. The storyline unfolds in the city of Ludwigshafen.

Folkerts, who identifies as openly lesbian, took part in the Gay Games 2002 held in Sydney, where she secured both a silver and a bronze medal in swimming relay events. She was disqualified from the individual competition due to an early start. In July 2004, she achieved a bronze medal at the EuroGames hosted in München.

In theatrical performances, she made history by being the first female to portray Death in Jedermann, Hugo von Hofmannsthal's adaptation of Everyman, during the Salzburg Festival in 2005 and 2006.
