Irish singer-songwriter Una Foden (née Healy; born 10 October 1981) is also a musician and television host. She gained attention in 2008 as part of the five-member girl group The Saturdays, which is affiliated with Fascination and Polydor Records. In 2006, Healy represented Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest, performing alongside Brian Kennedy on the track "Every Song Is a Cry for Love," where they achieved a tenth-place finish. Following this, she successfully auditioned for The Saturdays in 2007 after facing challenges in her home country’s music scene. Upon joining the band, she began producing music and releasing several successful singles. The group later secured another contract with Geffen Records following substantial success in the UK. Subsequently, Healy and her bandmates signed with Island Def Jam Records and Mercury Records to distribute their music across the United States, resulting in her first UK number-one single "What About Us." Previously, Healy had made an attempt at a solo career in 2006 by launching her debut extended play titled Sorry. Although it did not achieve commercial success, one song from that EP was re-recorded for inclusion as a B-side on the band's single "Higher."

In 2014, The Saturdays announced a hiatus after concluding their Greatest Hits Live! tour. This transition allowed Healy to explore various television projects such as hosting Una's Dream Ticket, participating in Splash!'s second season, and serving as a judge on Let's Get Gold. Additionally, she became one of the judges on RTÉ's The Voice of Ireland during its fourth and fifth seasons; she mentored winning contestant Patrick James in her inaugural year (2015) and secured third place with another act during season five. While pursuing her television endeavors, Healy was simultaneously working on her debut album titled The Waiting Game, released in February 2017.
