Vanessa Demouy (born April 5, 1973, in Montreuil, France) is a French actress and musician who also works occasionally as a model. Encouraged by her mother Catherine, a former model and modeling agency manager, she began modeling at the age of 8. After giving up her dream of studying classical dance at 15, she returned to modeling. At 17, she played the role of a young bride in the short film Les illusions du mariage (1990). She then appeared in various commercials, fashion shows, and for major fashion houses. From 1993, she played the role of Linda in over 120 episodes of the sitcom Classe mannequins.
Demouy debuted as a singer in 1995 with her album Rêve de fille. In Germany, she is best known as the female lead in the TV series Models in Paradise (1995) and for her appearances as Lara Croft in commercials. More recently, she has appeared in several theater productions and TV series.
