Vesna Pisarović (born 9 April 1978) is a Croatian pop and jazz singer. She was one of the most popular female singers in the former Yugoslavia countries before starting her career as a jazz musician in Berlin, Germany.
Pisarović was born in Brčko, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Yugoslavia, and grew up in Požega, Croatia. She attended music school from early childhood, learning flute, singing in choirs, and participating in music contests. In the mid-1990s, she moved to Zagreb, Croatia, graduated from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and began singing in clubs and writing songs. In 1997, she met Milana Vlaović, who started writing songs for her. In 2002, Pisarović won the Dora festival with the song "Everything I Want," which placed 11th at the Eurovision Song Contest 2002. She also wrote "In the Disco," which represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at Eurovision 2004.
