Zaira Wasim (born 23 October 2000) is an Indian film actress. She debuted with the biographical sports drama Dangal (2016) and starred in the musical drama Secret Superstar (2017), both among the highest-grossing Indian films. Dangal is also one of the highest-grossing films in China, while Secret Superstar is the highest-grossing Indian film featuring a female protagonist.
Wasim won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Indian sportswoman Geeta Phogat in Dangal and the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress for portraying an aspiring singer in Secret Superstar. She received the National Child Award for Exceptional Achievement from President Ram Nath Kovind in New Delhi.
