Amanda Joy "AJ" Michalka (born April 10, 1991) is an American actress, singer-songwriter, and musician. She was a model before becoming an actress and is best known as one-half of the duo Aly and AJ with her sister Aly Michalka.
AJ recorded the theme song "It's Who You Are" for the film Secretariat and released the single "All I've Ever Needed" from her 2013 film Grace Unplugged. She played Lainey Lewis in the ABC sitcom The Goldbergs, starting in a recurring role for two seasons before being promoted to a regular role from the third season onward.
