Alison Oliver, born on June 3, 1997, is an Irish actress known for her breakthrough role as Frances in the BBC Three and Hulu miniseries "Conversations with Friends" (2022). In 2023, Variety named her one of the "10 Actors to Watch."
Oliver is from Ballintemple, Cork, and later moved to Blackrock. She attended Scoil Mhuire in Cork and took acting, singing, and dance classes. She studied acting at Trinity College Dublin, graduating in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Her career began with "Conversations with Friends," followed by her London stage debut in "Women, Beware the Devil" at the Almeida Theatre in February 2023. Her film debut was in "Saltburn," written and directed by Emerald Fennell.
