Aljona Savchenko, born 19 January 1984, is a Ukrainian-born German pair skater. She is the 2018 Olympic champion, a two-time Olympic bronze medalist (2010, 2014), six-time World Champion, four-time European Champion, and five-time Grand Prix Final champion.
With partner Bruno Massot, she won the 2018 Olympic and World Championships, two European silver medals, the 2017–18 Grand Prix Final, and two German national titles (2016, 2018). They hold world records for the best free skate score and best total score, being the first pair to break 160 points in the free skate. With former partner Robin Szolkowy, she earned two Olympic bronze medals, five World Championships (2008, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2014), four European titles, four Grand Prix Final titles, and eight German national championships. Savchenko and Szolkowy received the first 10.0 component scores under the ISU Judging System. Earlier, representing Ukraine with Stanislav Morozov, she was the 2000 World Junior champion, 1999–2000 Junior Grand Prix Final champion, and two-time Ukrainian national champion. In June 2021, Savchenko unretired to compete in the United States but announced in September 2021 that she would focus on coaching due to difficulties finding a partner.
