Amber Rose Tamblyn (born May 14, 1983) is an American actress, author, poet, and film director. She gained national attention for her role as Emily Quartermaine on the soap opera General Hospital and later starred as the title character in the prime-time series Joan of Arcadia.
Her film roles include The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, The Grudge 2, The Ring, and 127 Hours. She played Martha M. Masters in the medical drama series House and had a starring role in season eleven of the CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men.
