Ana Sofia Lopes Malhoa Moreira, known as Ana Malhoa, was born on August 6, 1979. She is a Portuguese singer-songwriter, TV host, actress, and businesswoman.
She began her career performing with her father, José Malhoa, a popular Portuguese singer, in 1985. Together, they released seven extended plays between 1986 and 1995. At age 15, she became the host of the children's variety show Buéréré, released albums with platinum status, and became a pop icon in Portuguese-speaking countries. In 2000, she released her first studio album and is the best-selling pop artist in Portugal, with sales exceeding 630,000 copies.
