Anahí Giovanna Puente de Velasco, known as Anahí, was born on May 14, 1983. She is a Mexican singer-songwriter and actress, known for her roles in Alondra (1995), Mujeres Engañadas (1999), Primer Amor (2000), Clase 406 (2003), Rebelde (2004), and Dos Hogares (2011).
She was a member of the Latin-teen pop group RBD, which was nominated twice for a Latin Grammy and sold over 20 million albums. In 2009, she released the album Mi Delirio, selling one million copies worldwide. As a solo artist, she has sold three million albums. Her sixth studio album, Inesperado (2016), featured the singles "Rumba," "Boom Cha," "Eres," and "Amnésia." Anahí is the First Lady of Chiapas as the wife of Manuel Velasco Coello, Governor of Chiapas.
