Andrea Jane Corr MBE (born 17 May 1974) is an Irish musician, songwriter, and actress. She debuted in 1990 as the lead singer of the Celtic folk rock and pop rock group The Corrs, formed with her three elder siblings Caroline, Sharon, and Jim. Besides lead vocals, Andrea plays the tin whistle, ukulele, and piano.
With The Corrs, she has released six studio albums, two compilation albums, one remix album, and two live albums. Andrea has also pursued a solo career, releasing her debut album Ten Feet High in 2007, featuring a dance-pop sound. Her next album, released on 30 May 2011, consisted entirely of cover songs important to her in her youth. She has participated in charity concerts supporting causes such as the Pavarotti & Friends Liberian Children's Village, Freeman Hospital, victims of the Omagh bombing, and The Prince's Trust. Andrea is an ambassador for Nelson Mandela's "46664" campaign against AIDS in Africa. In 2005, The Corrs performed at Edinburgh Live 8 with Bono to promote the Make Poverty History campaign. That year, Andrea and her siblings were appointed honorary MBEs by Queen Elizabeth II for their contributions to music and charity.
